My tourism blueprint will turn Mahin Kingdom into paradise —Prince Arowojolu

The tourism potentialities of Ondo state, particularly those of Mahin Kingdom, will soon be boosted to international reckoning and economic empowerment as contained in  ‘Mahin Kingdom Tourism Economy Road map’, an economic template developed by  Prince   Olusola Olurotimi Enioluyan Arowojolu  and contained his “Mahin Kingdom Developmental Blueprint.”

Prince Arowojolu, who is from the Alagwe Ruling House in Mahin and one of the princes jostling to fill the vacant stool of the Amapetu of Mahin Kingdom, said that his interest to become the next Amapetu of Mahin is driven by ancestral calling, natural right, and community mission.

In an encounter at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, Prince Arowojolu, who is at present  Revenue Recognition Accountant at  Cisco System, UK, said “I am propelled by an inner desire to lift up my community, the Mahin Kingdom, a kingdom with great historical past and economic stride which has slipped, suffering and languishing in acrid poverty amidst gold and silver, crying for enhancement and development “

Prince Arowojolu added: “Mahin Kingdom is a kingdom which sits perfectly on gold and diamond in terms of mineral resources, aquatic splendour and blessings, and rare fauna and flora. All these are ingredients of turning the kingdom into a paradise of wealth to generate employment, empowering the youths, engaging the elders and satisfying the aged.”

He revealed that “As I junket around the world in the course of my professional calling as an accountant with an international corporation, from the UK to the Middle East, Asia and America, I have also not taken an eye off the needs of my community, my people and the kingdom.  Over these years, I have taken a revenue sources audit and inventory of the Mahin Kingdom in Ondo state and found out the humongous tourism blessing which God has soaked our kingdom in.”

Prince Arowojolu revealed: “I have consciously and painstakingly taken a comprehensive inventory of all the revenue sources which need to be developed by we, the people of the kingdom for our own personal empowerment, enrichment, wealth stimulation and social-economic growth.”

He disclosed that “Our kingdom is blessed. Do you know that the Mahin Kingdom is by far the largest in terms of territory and geography in the entire coastal suburb? Having studied how Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum turned a mere fishing town of Dubai into global city of tourism, having studied the stride of Lee Kuan Yew in Singapore, and having visited these countries on holidays, I am more propelled than before to form alliances with other change and development agents to  make Mahin Kingdom a paradise.”

Prince Arowojolu revealed “I have decided to devote the rest of my life to the emancipation of my people and the Mahin Kingdom. The tourism road map has clearly identified over four thousand jobs which will come via hotels, resorts, restaurants, environmental, parks, aquarium pool, recreation centres, conference, transportation, tour guides, constructions  and social event engagement.”

“I will also ensure the acceleration of the development of the Inland Port at Ipare and turn the bank of Alape River into an international aquatic splendour resort,” Arowojolu added.

Prince Arowojolu assured: “I have determined to give an international exposure and branding to all our festivals and I will make the kingdom to host   an international fishing and Boat Regatta which will ensure the rushing of tourists to the Mahin Kingdom.”

He revealed “ The Lord has led me through my professional globetrotting  into contacts with eminent and distinguished high net worth individuals who are ready and willing to add value to the Mahin Kingdom, a kingdom with great historical relevance, which by the grace of God, will not only be revived, but be turned into an oasis of tourism splendour.”
