My son is a homosexual

Although I have been hearing rumours about my 18-year-old son roaming around with all sorts of men, some older than him, it was only recently that I confirmed that he is actually a homosexual. Even though he is doing well in his studies, this discovery has greatly saddened me and I am at a loss at what to do.

So, look for someone to share your painful feelings with, especially, open-minded and progressive people. A professional therapist such as a social worker, psychologist, or psychiatrist can also help. Although there is currently no concrete solution to the issue of homosexualism, spiritual solace for the parents as well as counseling for the children have gone a long way in ameliorating the difficult situation.
