My second term will impact more lives, Buhari assures Nigerians

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that his second term would create more opportunities which will be targeted at improving the lives of Nigerians.

President Buhari disclosed this at program tagged ‘Testimonies of Change’ organised by the Ministry of Information and Culture, aimed at bringing first-hand beneficiaries of various government’s programmes to testify.

The President who represented by the Minister of Budget and National Pnanning, Udo Udoma thanked those who testified to his achievements and promised to do more in his second term.

“I witnessed a clear testimony that this administration has impacted positively on the country. I congratulate the testifiers and encourage them to continue spreading the good news.

“In our second term, we will do more, Nigerians should look forward to greater opportunities, under my leadership, we will achieve the Nigeria of our dream,” President Buhari said.

Also speaking the chief host of the occasion Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed who disclosed that it became imminent to present the achievements of the APC-led the administration to Nigerians in flesh and blood.

According to him, the federal government has impacted greatly on millions of Nigerian’s and the testimonies of change series were borne out of the need to present direct beneficiaries of the change agenda to Nigerians.

He stated that the achievements of this administration which are real are visible across the nation, as many Nigerians have been enjoying the dividend.

“There is no better way to showcase the achievements of this APC administration than to hear directly from the beneficiaries.

“I have done a media tour of infrastructural projects, town hall meeting in 16 different states across the country and it is obvious that president Buhari must be allowed to complete his change mission,” he said.

The minister who listed some of the achievements to include the N-power programme which is targeting 500,000 Nigerians, school feeding program, trader money, market money, infrastructure, payment of pension among others added that all this was executed with very little resources.

There were over 20 testifiers present at the programme who have benefited directly from Federal Government programmes and were drawn from different parts of the country.
