My goal is to make more people love rap music, says Chizzy Abig

Up-and-coming Nigerian rapper, Umeh Chinaza Destiny professionally known as Chizzy Abig has disclosed what he hopes to achieve with his music.

The singer and songwriter made this known in a recent interview while sharing some of his goals achievable with his sound.

He said: “I see that Nigerians don’t pay attention to rap music and the way I want to do my music is to produce sing-along rap records that are relatable so that music lovers out there can love rap music. I have decided to take this upon myself.”

Chizzy Abig who started his musical career at an early age, also noted that his songs pass a message of hope and inspiration to the youth.

“I just want people to understand that hard work pays no matter how long. What you believe in must happen and still let people know what is going on in my country,” said Chizzy Abig.

Chizzy Abig is an Indie artist based in Turkey, he gained international success from his critically acclaimed single titled ‘Vibes’ featuring Rich Hendrixx in 2021. He grew up in Anambra State where he spent his formative years and hails from Enugu State.
