My collaboration with Olamide, a genius move ― Phlex

Fast-rising pop star, Adeniyi Emmanuel, popularly known as Phlex is still basking in the euphoria of his duet with self-acclaimed street king, Olamide, describing the new work as a big push for his music career.

Phlex said his collaboration with the YBNL boss was strategic, even as he added that the industry required one to be very pragmatic and strategic, hence his decision to go into a strategic music collaboration with the rave of the moment (Olamide).

Just three months ago, Phlex released his debut EP, entitled Undisputed, in which he featured East African star Rayvanny and indigenous rapper, Reminisce. Since then, the light-skinned singer has been receiving commendations and positive reviews of his latest body of work, which has also had about 1 million streams and views on Youtube.

Describing the responses he had been receiving after the release of his EP as impressive, Phlex said he was ready to keep entertaining his fans from within and outside the country even if takes him to spend more days in the studio.

“I am excited about the dimension my music career is assuming and I am not losing sleep over it. Yes, the EP has recorded tremendous success in the last few months. I have worked hard over the years to get to this level and I am not slowing down. You can feel the vibe from my new work with Olamide and I know it was a strategic movement for me,” he said.
