Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan
SENATORIAL candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Delta South, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has reiterated that his focus at his campaigns ahead of the general elections are tailored on issues rather than individuals.
He made the clarification while refuting a report that he adduced his reason for defecting from the PDP to APC due to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s refusal to listen to wise counsel.
He took a swipe on the spokesperson of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, accusing him (Osuoza) of having the penchant “to pour venom on me” since he (Uduaghan) left the PDP.
The former Delta governor, while reacting in his Facebook wall on Tuesday, denied making such a statement reportedly at Koko, Warri North Local Government Area with the headline: “I Left PDP Because Okowa Doesn’t Listen To Wise Counsel ― Uduaghan.”
“To Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, PRO of Delta State PDP, please note, that the above statement did not come from me.

“In your usual style since I moved into APC, you have used it to pour venoms on me.
“I appointed you a Commissioner in my administration. I will therefore not go down that piggery route with you.
“Please get the tape of what I said, which is not new. That’s what good PROs do.
“Finally, am focused on issues concerning my aspiration to represent the Delta South Senatorial District.
“I expect you to focus on those issues in trying to stop me from getting the ticket.
“I will not be distracted by people like you,” the Itsekiri-born medical doctor noted.
