Delivering a lecture under the theme, ‘Repositioning PHF,’ the communication expert said it was time da’wah organisation redesigned their modus operandi in order to position themselves for the numerous positive developments globally.

This, he noted, would take them beyond traditionalism, allow them to avoid stagnation and retardation and give them a meaningful existence through visible national and international imprints.

He identified corporate image, programming and da’wah strategies as areas which require utmost attention for organisations yearning to meet up with current global standards on Islamic propagation.

He also stated that the media and public relations strategies of most organisations required an overhaul, adding that poor media presence had negatively affected the public perception of Islamic groups and their activities in Nigeria.

The coordinator, PHF, Oyo State, Abdul Ganiy Dhikrullah, noted that the wave of killings and rancour in the political landscape before the 2019 general election called for concern and urged religious leaders to intensify preaching on harmonious co-existence among Nigerians.

He stated that the activities of the PHF in the year had dwelt on the welfare of Muslims, academic enhancement and collaboration with other Islamic groups.
