Published by

The owner of X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk, has disclosed that his much-anticipated cage fight with Meta’s owner, Mark Zuckerberg, will be staged at an epic location in Rome, Italy.

Recall that Musk had earlier taken to Twitter now referred to as X to challenge his Meta-owner counterpart, Zuckerberg, to a cage fight weeks ago.

He wrote, “I’m up for a cage match if he is. lol.”

Zuckerberg responded to the challenge by taking a screenshot of Musk’s tweet and responding on his Instagram stories, “Send me the location.”

Revealing the latest development about the fight, Musk took to Twitter on Friday to disclose that the fight will be used to pay respect to the past and present of Rome, Italy.

According to him, the fight will be staged in line with the ancient Rome tradition, without any form of modernization.

He further revealed that the fight will be personally managed by foundations belonging to him and Zuckerberg.

Elon Musk, who recently disclosed that the fight will be live-streamed on Twitter (X), also revealed that the fight will be managed by his foundation and that of Zuckerberg.

He tweeted, “The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and the Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location. Everything done will pay respect to the past and present of Italy.”
