Music star, Popito joins Huzzle Records family

Afrobeats and Highlife music sensation, Ebuka Jude Ezerioha, known as Popito in the music circles has penned a contract with prime record label, Huzzle Records.

Popito who is a music artist with multi dimensional talents and passion for evolving and experimenting with different Genres has carved a niche for himself as an artist to watch out for.

He is a drummer , a pianist, a singer , sound producer and a performing artist and he describes himslef as a total package, all in one , with God’s given talent.

He started music as early as when he was 10 years old from church but his career took a great flight when he was signed by Huzzle Records.

“Life as an artist is not that new and difficult as I have always understood the fundamentals of music and worked with so many musicians, like Skales Timaya, Teni , Ice Prince , Davido , Orezi to mention a few. I’m now signed to Huzzler Records owned by my dear childhood friend, Babatunde Oyebode a.k.a, CEO of HUZZLE RECORDS . It is a reunion , we started very young together now we are back together to work together and make good music and good music business.

Popito is an Afrobeats , Highlife , African Sounds artist.

“I love to mess with the drums as a drummer, it really defines my sound,” he says.

HUZZLE RECORDS started in Festac town , Festac Extension to be precise , about 10 years ago.

1. Who is Popito and how different is he from other music artists out there?

— popito is a drummer , a pianist, a singer , sound producer and a performing artist , am a package all in one , with God’s given talent.

2. How and when did your musical journey start and what were the influences that shaped your vision?

It all started when I was 10 very young it all started from church

3. How would you describe life, as an artist signed to a record label?

Life as an artist is not that new and difficult as I have always understood the fundamentals of music and worked with so many musicians , call it from skales , Timaya, teni , ice prince , Davido , OREZI to mention a few, now signed to huzzle records own by my dear child hood friend Baudex aka Babatunde Oyebode CEO of HUZZLERECORDS , is a reunion , we started very young together now we are back together to work together an make good music and Good music business.

4. What genre do you do and is it wise for an artist to focus on a single genre?

AFROBEATS , HIGHLIFE , AFRICAN SOUNDS , I love to mess with the drums as a drummer, it really defined my sound

5. How would you rate African music incursion into the world stage and what genre should Africa stick to, for identity?

African music now has a spot , stands on its own , has its own genre , and it’s a force to recon with, and they are now subscribing to it over the world , we don’t need to travel to serve the international market , we blow here in lagos they feel it in LA , In London and Lisbon hahahaha

6. What inspires you when making sounds or music and what are the complexities involved?

For me it’s just my mood , and expressing it with music and beats is a talent , you have to be blessed to be able to do what I do.

7. Can you highlight your achievements since you began making music?

– ah baba if I start now we no go finish , I don’t like to blow my trumpet pls just google me up Abeg .

8. It is said that an artist cannot stick to one woman, what’s your take on this in view of your experience with the ladies?

Ah woman and man relationship can not be described by profession , sticking to a woman or having more than 1 is a matter of individual choice .

10. How has the social media influenced your growth as an artist?

It’s has helped me alot to get my craft out there, a platform to showcase my talent and get my production busienss afloat.
It has immensely helped not just me bust everyone.
