The man is from the oyel state where the comrade was once the oga patapata. His surname is the same as that of the Nigerian-born female legend who sang a popular song that has ‘taboo’ as one of its titles.
The man recently had trouble with olopa in that country and after investigation, he was found to have defrauded some people to the tune of one million pound sterling through internet fraud popularly called ‘yahoo-yahoo.’
According to Olofofos, the last fraud that he committed, which was described as ‘romance scam,’ was what exposed him as he was said to have collected 50,000 pounds from a Jando woman and it was the lady that raised the alarm, leading to his arrest.
Well, he was taken to court and was sentenced to six years imprisonment. He has since started his sentence in a prison there and after the completion, according to Olofofos, he will be bundled into the next available plane back to Nigeria.
