A budding afro-pop and RnB singer, Jesse Nwachukwu Okonkwo, stage-named Jesse Raey, is confident of the uplifting powers of his music.
The top 8 finalist of Nigerian Idols season 4 recently said that his music is a depression killer. He said that listening to his music was a good way to get off from any kind of depression because his lyrics are highly inspirational and soul-lifting.
But Raey has been off the music scene for some time pursuing his educational career. He, however, intimated Saturday Tribune that he was making great comeback to the music industry, alerting his fans to watch out for him.
Speaking about his kind of music, the afro-pop singer said that his music will cut across all age brackets.
He said, “My song cuts across board and touches all aspects of human life and trust me, you can’t listen to my song and not get lifted for it is a rich blend of the many sounds that make me who I am”.
The singer is currently working on some singles which he will drop soon.
