MumineenRelief, Al-Mu’minaat support underprivileged Muslims with food items

A charity, MumineenRelief, in collaboration with Al-Mu’minaat (the Believing Women) Organisation, Oyo State chapter, held an intervention programme for underprivileged Muslims Tuesday last week in Ibadan.

At the event, essential support was provided for people facing food insecurity during the current holy month of Ramadan.

Al-Mu’minaat, known for its philanthropic initiatives, joined hands with MumineenRelief, a prominent relief organisation, to organise the event that focused on alleviating the hardships being encountered by members of the most vulnerable segments of the society.

Some of the beneficiaries who gathered at the venue expressed gratitude and relief. They explained how the gesture would enable them to observe Ramadan with dignity and sustenance.

The state Ameerah of Al-Mu’minaat Organisation, Hajiya Rafat Bakrin, expressed appreciation to MumineenRelief for its contributions while also expressing optimism for future collaborations.

According to Hajiya Bakrin, the event was also meant to assure the beneficiaries, who were provided with “tangible assistance and smiles,” that they were not alone in their struggles.

“MumineenRelief and Al-Mu’minaat Organisation have etched an enduring mark on the lives of many in Ibadan, exemplifying the transformative power of collective action among Islamic organisations during trying times.

“This collaborative effort serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us of the boundless potential for positive change when communities unite in compassion and service,” she said.
