Abayomi Ayeni, (a.k.a Thespis), who has inherited her mother’s ‘calling’, but added music to it, told R that there was no need for anybody to panic.
“My mum and everyone that was involved in the accident are doing fine. We thank God for His divine protection, because none of us sustained any injury. She is fine and I am happy to tell you that she has returned to location,” he said.
Thespis, who drove the Volkvergen car, recalled that the lone-accident occurred along the Abeokuta-Ibadan highway, when they were returning to Ibadan after a function in Abeokuta.
“The vehicle got hocked on a spot and I tried to control it so as not to make the situation worse. But, the vehicle eventually swerved leaving the car damaged severely. I thank God that none of us in the vehicle suffered any injury or fracture. We were four in the car: my mum, my girlfriend, a friend and myself,” he said.
Joke Muyiwa also took to one of her social media handles to appreciate her fans and colleagues for their concern over the development.
She posted the picture with her son with an inscription that stated: “We are thanking everybody for the calls and messages concerning the accident. I appreciate. We are strong and fit now. God bless you all.”
