Winner of MTN Project fame season 9, during the week, took ownership of her brand new car; a gift which she, in the presence of friends and family, was excited to have.
The 25-year-old Linguistics & Communications graduate from University of Port Harcourt, who used to have a career in modeling, has decided to pursue her passion as a band lead singer.
The third girl from a family of six, Okiemute credits her journey into music to one of her sisters, whom she said was always quick to put her at the fore front of any music-related activity.
At the point of taking ownership of her brand new car which was presented at the Lagos office of MTN Nigeria (the sponsors behind the talent show), Okiemute expressed gratitude to God, Ultima studios, and MTN Nigeria for the wonderful opportunity. She could hardly contain her excitement as she held the keys to her car, on a lighter note, she said “This car actually suits my skintone, I absolutely love it!”
A first timer on Project Fame, Okiemute made the decision to participate this season because she was certain she had built enough confidence, hence she auditioned in Port Harcourt.
Okiemute emerged winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa Season 9! She won N5 Million cash prize, a brand new SUV, and a recording contract worth millions of Naira.
