Israeli-American born musician and afrobeat singer, Ms.Bodega is making a big statement with her new song, Shoko. The singer, in the new project showed her undying passion for the African music as she went all out to put four of African popular artistes on her new song.
The singer, who wishes to be known, simply as Ms.Bodega, both on and off stage, opened up on her mission to break barriers with her songs, adding that it has been her desire so long to penetrate the industry with her Afro-pop music, a genre not popular where she is coming from.
Ever since, the entrepreneur has worked with artistes on a number of projects, just as music lovers have lauded her works. As part of her plans to keep pushing her luck in the African market, Ms.Bodega teamed up with Nigeria’s rap king, CDQ, Congo and London music star, BM; Fanicko from Benin Republic and Nigeria’s Toby Grey.
Each of the artistes brings their own style and fire on their energetic verses to make the perfect dance experience in different languages and dialects. They expressed optimism on the success of the new song and urged their fans across the Africa continent and beyond to embrace the song.
Ms.Bodega, who is not new to breaking new barriers and taking bold steps, explained that the need to explore has been the motivating factor for her music voyage to different European countries, where she has established herself as, not just a musician, but also a music producer, writer and performer.
According to her, the video of Shoko was already in the works and would be released very soon.
