Most Beautiful Girl in Oyo State contest to hold October 1

The organiser of the annual Most Beautiful Girl in Oyo State (MBGOS ) contest, Mr Oyelami Adesina has disclosed that the second edition of the contest will take place on Independence Day, October 1.

Adesina disclosed this in a press release made available to newsmen. According to him, this year’s edition of the contest is aimed at creating awareness for mental health and the girl child education in Oyo State and beyond.

“The theme for the MBGOS 2019 edition is ‘Mental health awareness’. It is selected to create awareness in the society in curbing the increase in suicide rate amongst the youth while we promote healthy competition in the society,” he stated.

He disclosed that this year’s edition will take place at Kakanfo conference centre, Ibadan with the winners going home with lofty prizes.

“This year, the winner of the MBGOS will be going home with N500,000 cash prize, a year endorsement deals worth over one million naira, a year free makeup products, spa treatment, skin care products and the person will automatically become the spokesperson for the mental health awareness and girl child education in Oyo State while runners-up will go home with cash prizes, techno phones, skin care products, makeup products and ambassadorship deal,” he said. Adesina said forms for the MBGOS are currently on sale for ladies aged between 17 and 27, while the audition will take place tomorrow.
