The Molete Baptist Church, Ibadan, Oyo State, will today commence activities marking its 60th anniversary celebration today with the presentation of the anniversary flag and performance of the international choir anniversary at the church auditorium.
According to the church, the anniversary is focused on impacting the lives of members of the church and the community at large.
Tribune Church News also learnt that an anniversary lecture will be held on August 21 while a novelty match between the church’s youth and Oke-Ado Youth will hold on August 22. The CSR arm of the church will also visit an orphanage on August 23.
One of the highpoints of the anniversary, according to the church, will be held on August 24 as the church has concluded plans to celebrate 60 personalities with an award of excellence, while the grand finale will feature thanksgiving, and project commissioning on August 25.
