Mob sets ablaze suspected Badoo member in Ogun

A suspected member of the Badoo cult, terrorising residents of Ikorodu, Lagos State, was set ablaze by angry mob at Magbo, in Ogijo area of Ogun State, on Wednesday.

The suspect was alleged to have been in possession of a severed head of a baby, and this development led to his death.

Metro recalled that the cult group was said to have killed scores of residents of Ikorodu in the last six months.

The State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, who was on official visit to the area saw the burnt suspect and ordered his men to evacuate his remains.

Whenthe mob sighted the convoy of the CP fled the scene for fear of being arrested.

Metro recalled that Iliyasu at a press conference on Tuesday in Abeokuta, said the cult had no place in the state.

An angry mob on Wednesday set ablaze a middle-aged man suspected to be a member of the dreaded Badoo cult in Magbo Ogijo in Sagamu local government area of Ogun State.
