Ministerial nominee: IPAC congratulates Oyetola

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has extended its congratulations to the former Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, for his nomination as a Minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Osun State chapter, Wale Adebayo, it was stated that the nomination of the former governor as a Minister in President Tinubu’s cabinet was well-deserved.

The statement further commended the President for making the nomination and expressed the belief that the nation would benefit significantly from Oyetola’s wealth of experience and depth of knowledge in government.

Adebayo described Oyetola as a capable individual who will contribute effectively to the implementation of the President’s policies.

He stated, “I congratulate the nomination of my leader, Gboyega Oyetola, on his appointment as a ministerial nominee from our state. Gboyega Oyetola’s nomination is indeed well-deserved and he is a capable individual who will prove useful in implementing the President’s policies.”

Oyetola, who is the immediate past governor of the state, is currently one of the 48 ministerial nominees undergoing screening at the Senate, as reported by the Nigerian Tribune.

The Osun IPAC chairman also commended the Osun PDP senators for their mature conduct during the screening of Oyetola at the Senate. He described the support extended by the PDP Senators to the former governor as a true reflection of democracy.
