Ministerial Appointment: Bosun Tijani restates committment to boost productivity using technology

The new Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, has expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for the opportunity while restating his commitment to “raise the level of productivity through the smart application of technology.”

Tijani made the statement on Thursday via his handle on X (formerly Twitter).

“It’s an exciting time to build a bigger and better future for all Nigerians. Grateful to the President @officialABAT for the opportunity to join his team working to deliver a more inclusive and prosperous Nigeria…

“I look forward to working with all stakeholders to raise the level of productivity across our economy through the smart application of technology,” he stated.

The 46-year-old tech entrepreneur and investor was named the minister of communications, innovation, and digital economy on Wednesday by President Bola Tinubu and is now tasked with driving impactful policies to support the Nigerian tech ecosystem.
