The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have arrived at the Presidential Villa, Abuja for a scheduled meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
The organized Labour delegates led by the NLC President, Joe Ajaero and his TUC counterpart, Festus Usifoh, were driven into the premises at 2:14 pm in a Coaster bus.
The meeting, which was scheduled for 2 pm, is expected to last for 30 minutes going by the programme of the president.
It follows last week’s meeting where the parties resolved to continue consultation over the proposals for the new national minimum wage.
President Tinubu has assured that he is not opposed to a new national minimum wage but that labour must agree to what can be borne by the federal government and the subnationals.
