Minimum wage: Labour leaders arrive Aso Rock

FOLLOWING the suspension of the planned strike over lack of agreement on new national minimum wage, labour leaders have this afternoon, arrived for a decisive meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja.

The meeting scheduled for 4.15pm is expected to take a decision on the figure that will be acceptable to all parties in the negotiation.

Two amounts including N30,000 demanded by labour and the government’s proposal of N24,000 are to be presented to the President for his consideration during the meeting.
