One of the reasons why we are not experiencing love, peace and unity in Nigeria is because of the fact that we have been forced to live together as one even when many tribal groups want to go their separate ways and have their own countries.
It is time to tell the world and those who killing is their hobby and love killing us so that they can inherit our land for their animals to be grazing on, that enough is enough and we will no longer continue to stay with them in same entity called Nigeria.
Let’s better be honest with one another. The one Nigeria those in leadership positions have been preaching cannot be possible now and it will forever not be possible because the same people that are preaching one Nigeria are the same people diverting the public funds into their pockets for their own personal interests. So, where is the one Nigeria in their attitude?
Is the killing in Benue and other parts of the country by the Fulani herdsmen one Nigeria? Is the raping of our mothers, sisters and wives by the Fulani herdsmen one Nigeria? Is the setting of our houses ablaze by the Fulani herdsmen one Nigeria? Can one still talk about one Nigeria when Fulani herdsmen are sending us to our early graves to occupy our lands for grazing?
Very unfortunately, the present government under the leadership of President Buhari is fully supporting the satanic activities of the herdsmen by being careless and doing nothing reasonable to stop the herdsmen from killing. How can we talk about one Nigeria when the President gives more attention to issues concerning people from the same ethnic group with him but the same President is careless about people from other ethnic groups?
Despite the ongoing military operation in Benue State tagged: ‘Operation Cat Race’, the Fulani herdsmen are still killing more and more than when there was no operation of such in the state. Is it not obvious that the so called operation is an organized plan that could make it easier for the herdsmen to kill more, rap more, set more houses ablaze and take over more land?
We will not continue to overlook the excesses of the herdsmen and our leaders, we will not continue to be slaves in our own land, we will no longer allow those in leadership positions to detect to us and determine our future, we will no longer accept the one Nigeria that is not possible, we will not allow the so called government to take our land and do ranches for the herdsmen and their cattle. We rear goats, chickens and other animals but we are not asking anybody to give us land to do ranches for our goats, chickens, pigs, and so on.
We want to have a country of our own and we want to be known as the Federal Republic of Middle Belt. Enough is enough.
