After an enviable career spanning more than four decades as the Chairman of Toyota Nigeria Limited, business mogul and one of the pillars of Nigeria’s auto industry, Chief Michael Ade-ojo, is stepping aside.

The Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State-born billionaire has perfected his plans to hand over the reins of the company to his son, Kunle, who is presently the Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria and one of the company’s most trusted hands.

Chief Ade-Ojo made the disclosure during the recent Toyota Awards and Customers Night where he highlighted his achievements and the reason to pave the way for someone younger to continue sailing the affairs of the company.

The auto-magnate will join the octogenarian’s club in June and from all indications, the 80th birthday will be a grand affair to celebrate his age and his accomplishment.

The man, who pilots the affair of the Elizade Group of Companies, is an achiever that leads by example and deserves the accolades as one of the pioneers of auto business in Nigeria.
