MI, Vector’s fight gets messier!

The rap battle between two of Nigeria’s foremost rappers, MI and Vector does not appear to be going away anytime soon as Vector, on Friday, attacked MI in his new track, entitled Judas The Rat, describing the Chocolate City boss as a man with no value and honour.

While no one could explain what led to the fight that was said to have began on twitter some weeks back when both rappers started throwing shades at each other’s tweets as fans wondered what could have gone wrong between them.

While it was believed by many that the battle was only a twitter fight that would soon be forgotten, Vector took a step further to show that the fight was real when he released a rap single, Tetracycling where he more jabs at MI with fans calling on MI to reciprocate.

In less than a week, MI replied Vector in another track entitled The Viper. The rapper went raw in the song saying Vector was not among the top five successful rappers in the country, a development which did not go down well with Vector.

The tension grew even bigger on twitter as fans tried wade in on the beef that was already getting messier. It was gathered that their beef started in 2015 when Vector tried to feature MI on his King Kong track but MI was said to have turned the collaboration as Vector claimed.

The beef between them had continued since then as they avoided being on each other’s songs for a long time.

Mi in his track, which he shared its lyrics on his Instagram page described Vector as the only rapper that has done nothing to bring any one else up, adding that Vector’s career has never taken off and lived up to its potential.

In a statement credited to Vector, who is signed to Hennessy, the rapper claimed that MI was jealous of his deal with the cognac brand and tried to take him off it. He claimed that MI had always wanted to join the Hennessy brand after he had lost his deal with Martell, another cognac brand.

In Vector’s statement, he described MI as Judas the rat, who wants to be loved but Judas cannot get love truthfully.

“You have nothing I want. You have no honour, you have no code. No matter how successful you become in life, you will never be as successful as me. I am the one with the Hennessy job you kept criticising and tweeting you want. I am the one who won the irrelevant award category that got you whining and calling out award organizers.

“Success is contentment to me and you Judas the rat will never be contend no matter how many people you sell for gold and silver. Repent and purge your heart of envy so that it shall be well with you”, he said.
