Mending the broken fence in Oyo PDP

Published by

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) state congress that took place in Ibadan, Oyo State, on October 16 revealed that all is not well within the party, as some aggrieved members went to Jogor Centre to conduct a parallel congress while the loyalists of Engr. Seyi Makinde went to Adamasingba Stadium to elect their party executive members.

It was reported that hoodlums went to Jogor Centre at Oke Ado to attack aggrieved PDP members and some expensive cars were vandalised. This is barbaric and the perpetrators of this heinous crime must be arrested.

Engr. Seyi Makinde is an easy-going and well loved governor and He has been telling the aggrieved PDP members in Oyo State to be patient with him.

I am of the belief that he would put a smile on the faces of aggrieved PDP members. An adage says if the wall does not open, the lizard will not be able to enter.

The question to ask is what is causing grievances among Oyo PDP members

I want to plead with Governor Makinde to give peace a chance as the head and father of everybody in the state.
