About me
Simeon Daferede George  a.k.a (Ishyne) was born in November 1983 to Mr and Mrs Daferede George. I grew up in Satellite town, Lagos and later relocated to Ibadan.

Education

I attended Olubi memorial grammar school and later enrolled at Gloryville college, Okokomaiko, Lagos.

 

About my music

Ishyne is a Reggae/Dancehall and Afro pop artiste, I started performing at street jams and carnivals  as far back as 2003. I got signed to Evans music in 2007/2008 but things didn’t go as planned. I also joined explicit dancers in 2010 but presently, I am signed to Bucktunes West Africa. I released ‘Fuji groove’, ‘World-wide queen’ and ‘Mercy’ which has a video and my songs are morally inclined.

Upcoming plans

Bucktunes West Africa is back and coming out with a hit song that would shake the whole nation. Fans should look out for it in a few weeks, and my new management, Soro entertainment, are working together to remain in the spot light.

 

My inspiration

Ishyne listens to all genre of music, mostly from legendary artistes like Fela, Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, 2Pac, Sade Adu, Majek Fashek, Sound sultan, 2face and many more. I believe in positive vibes and music is the only way I can add positivity to my environment. I look forward to a glorious and fulfilling years ahead.
