Media team releases Tinubu’s scorecard for October

The presidential media team of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, released the administration scorecard for the month of October.

This was posted on the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Media Centre ‘X’ account on Friday, 1st November 2024.

 

Highlighting President Tinubu’s progress towards the fulfilment of his Renewed Hope Agenda, here is a list of October progress:

TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION

  • Sealed Deal With Ericsson: to advance 5G Tech Development.
  • Contactless passport application: breakthrough.

AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SECURITY

  • Launched state-level Cadre Harmonisé (CH) analysis: to identify regions grappling with food and nutrition insecurity.
  • Ambitious Soybean and Sugar Projects: collaborate with the Trans Sahara.

YOUTH AND SME DEVELOPMENT

  • Establishment of creative economy development fund: approved.
  • Implementation of Intellectual Property Monetisation Pilot: approved.

ROAD SAFETY

  • Inaugurated National Road Safety Advisory Council (NaRSAC): pledged safer roads

SOCIAL WELFARE

  • Launched Nigeria’s largest Ultra-Modern MSME Fashion Hub: in Enugu State.
  • Approved 150k grant: each to business owners in Enugu state.
  • Resuscitation of the livestock sector: to boost the economy.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

  • Launched Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP): to stimulate economic growth through targeted investments and reforms.
  • Approved $1.28bn Seplat-ExxonMobil deal: Nigeria approves Exxon Mobil Corp.’s sale of its oil and gas assets to domestic energy supplier Seplat Energy Plc.
  • Germany’s €4bn Investment: in light of the Green Energy Revolution in Nigeria.
  • N122 billion project equity participation agreement: with six gas infrastructure companies to transform the midstream gas value chain.
  • $3.3 billion Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement: for the Brass Fertilizer and Petrochemical Company Ltd.
  • $100m loan for youths and women-led SMEs: African Development Bank approves loan under Nigeria’s YEIB.

 

HEALTHCARE

  • Approved N12.911bn disbursement: to improve National Health Services.
  • Launched action plan to combat Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
  • Zero Value-Added Tax and excise duties: on pharmaceutical products and medical devices.

 

INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

  • Sokoto-Badagry highway project: kicked off.
  • Dangote Refinery Receives First Supplies Of Crude Oil: in Naira sale from NNPCL.
  • Deployment of CNG vehicles: to the North-East region.
