THE Nigerian Army has appointed a new theatre Commander for the North East “Operation Dole”.
He is Major General Ibrahim Attahiru who takes over from Major General Leo Irabor who move to the Multi National Joint Task Force MNJTF in Chad as commander.
Until now Major General Attahiru was the Director of Administration Defence Headquarters, former GOC 82 division and one time Army spokesman.
Also appointed are Major General A.M Diko moves to GOC 1 division Kaduna, Major General A.Oyebade moves from 1 division Army Headquarters as Chief of Logistics (COLOG) while Major General P.J Dauke moves from 3 division Jos to Lagos as GOC 81 Division and Brigadier General B.I Ahanatu as acting GOC 3 division Jos.
