Mark commiserate with Tinubu, Goje

FORMER President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has sent messages of condolence to All Peoples Congress (APC) chieftain, Senator Bola Tinubu and former Governor of Gombe state Senator Danjuma Goje over the demise of their loved ones.

Mark, in separate condolence messages made available by his Media Assistant, Paul Mumeh, condoled the two families and prayed that the Lord replenish the souls of the departed.

Senator Bola Tinubu lost his first son, Jide on Wednesday while Senator Goje lost his wife Hajia Fatima Yelwa a couple of days ago.

Senator Mark in separate condolences to the bereaved families regretted the demise of the deceased and described the incidents as painful.

Mark lamented that the Tinubu lost an heir apparent who was in every sense of the word promising and focused towards contributing to the development of Nigeria.

Senator Mark stated: “I identify with you at this moment of grief. I earnestly share in this pain and prayed that God comforts you ceaselessly”.

On the death of Senator Goje’s wife, Senator Mark described Yelwa as a supportive and accommodative woman who will be missed greatly.

Senator Mark told Goje: Your wife was a kind and generous woman whose support and the impact was felt by all and sundry in Gombe state and beyond. She was a role model and an epitome of humility”.

Mark counseled the bereaved to take solace in the fact that God will never leave or forsake them especially in their times.

He prays that God Almighty gives the bereaved the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
