Earlier, the Prosecutor, ASP. Clifford Ogu had told the court that Aremu committed the offences on Feb. 13 at 6:30 a.m. at No 11, Adebari St., Atobaje in Agege, near Lagos.

“Aremu assaulted one Tunde Ogunlowo by using a cutlass to cut his neck and waist and inflicting injuries on him over a dispute, ’’ Ogu said.

The prosecutor said that Ogunlowo suffered severe injuries from the attack.

Ogu said that the offences contravened Sections 246 and 245 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
