A 39-year-old man, Tosin Osundiran, who allegedly broke into a warehouse and stole car paints worth N1.3 million, has been brought before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.
The defendant on Friday appeared on a three-count charge of conspiracy, breaking in and stealing but he denied committing the offences.

Insp. Kehinde Olatunde prosecuting the case told the court that the defendant and two others at large broke into a warehouse and carted away the car paints belonging to Mr Godwin Njubigbo.
Olatunde said that the defendant committed the offences on July 3, at 7.59p.m., at No. 26, Glover St., Ebute Meta, Lagos, in contravention of Sections 287, 306 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr O.O. Olatunji granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties each in like sum.
Olatunji directed that the sureties should be gainfully employed and have proof of tax payment to the state government.
He has adjourned the case until Aug. 7.
