PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari says the Mambilla Hydro Power plant project remains his major priority in Taraba state where he promised to complete it if re-elected as started by his administration.
The President who was in Jalingo in continuation of his campaign rally said the project, when completed will generate jobs opportunity for the teaming unemployed Nigerian youths, not only in the state but in the country too.
He also promised to ensure the completion of all Federal roads in the northeast as well as provide fertilizer at a subsidised rate for farmers to enable them assist the government in boosting the agricultural sector.
Speaking at the rally, APC National Chairman Comrade Adam Oshiomhole described President Muhammadu Buhari as the most honest leader in the country and called on people of Taraba state to re-elect him as well as all APC candidates across the nation.

In his remark, Taraba state APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Sani Danladi appealed to the President to construct a bridge from Lau local government area that would lead to Gombe state with a view to boost the economy of the state, saying that the state is endowed with potentials of natural resources.
Danladi also urged the APC Presidential Candidate to construct a railway as well as provide more security to the state during the general elections, while he commended the President for the contracts awarded by the Federal government for reconstruction of Ibbi bridge, Numan-Jalingo road and Mambilla Hydro Power project among other poverty alleviation programs.
