Malami’s foundation promises economic empowerment, inaugurates office in Kebbi

The Khadimiyya for Justice and Development Initiative (KJDI) has inaugurated an office in Dakingari town of Kebbi.

In a press statement signed by the publicity secretary of Khadimiyya, Abubakar Ibrahim Jumbale and made available to Tribune Online stated that the founder of the foundation, the Attorney-General Abubakar Malami, who was the special guest of honour at the occasion promised to continue to give all necessary financial and moral support to the organisation to enable it to provide humanitarian services and economic empowerment for the downtrodden. 

Malami, who is also the Minister of Justice expressed optimism that the newly inaugurated office at Suru LGA will facilitate easy access to various interventions for the people at the grassroots level.

Earlier in his speech, the board chairman of Khadimiyya, Alhaji Abubakar Musa Gotomo, said the foundation has so far constructed 365 motorised boreholes across all the political wards in the state and has empowered more than 20,000 youths with soft loans facilities for more than 8,000 small and medium entrepreneurs.

Other major achievements of the foundation according to Gotomo include education support, agricultural development and healthcare services delivery.
