Those making life difficult for the common man will be relocated – Adeboye

• Says 2017 is year of surprises, monster floods, hurricanes, typhoons, others

Year 2017 will be a year of surprises both for individuals, Nigeria and the world, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has predicted.

The renowned cleric gave the prophecies few minutes to 12 midnight of Saturday, December 31 at the 2016 Crossover Night held at the Redemption Camp, Kilometre 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.

Clad in a navy blue jacket, Adeboye, popularly referred to as ‘Daddy GO’ by his admirers, declared that surprises are awaiting both the oppressors and the oppressed in Nigeria.

He went further to declare that “those deliberately making life difficult for the common man will be relocated,” declining not to explain further on the meaning.

Suspiciously on the country’s bedridden economy, the cleric predicted that “the downward plunge will slow down, stop and reversal will begin.”

For the global community, the septuagenarian cleric said 2017 is “a year of surprises for many world governments.”

He noted that natural disasters of monstrous magnitude will characterise the global atmosphere.

“They (natural disasters) are coming in twos: monster earthquakes, monster hurricanes and typhoons, floods of monstrous proportion, monster tornadoes and monster fire outbreaks,” he declared, adding that they’ll be at least two of such in each case of the natural disasters.

On prophecies for the individuals, the man of God announced that “it will be a year of surprises for both true and false prophets.

According to him, “there’ll be quite a large number of weddings,” adding that “soul winners will see their prophecies fulfilled almost as soon as they’re uttered.”

Earlier in the service graced by a mammoth crowd in both new and old auditoriums, there was the last Holy Communion for 2016, service of songs rendered in English, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa by a group of pastors led by Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye, members of the praise team and other groups.

Preaching after the service of songs on “Enforcing Prophecies” with the Bible passage taken from I Kings18:41-46, Pastor Adeboye identified faith in God, belief in His prophets, God’s sovereignty and fasting and prayer, among others as what people should do to see prophecies concerning them fulfilled.

He enjoined the congregation to focus of God this year and avoid distractions that could render prophecies concerning unfulfilled.
