Making agricultural input available for small holder farmers

Published by

Dry season cultivation has already commenced and small holder farmers need a lot of input to make the season’s activities a success.

They need inputs that include technology aid for dry season farming like tilling machinery, irrigation pumping systems, extension services and adequate technical information of what to do for each produce in terms of care.

They require these to kick-start the dry season farming but they are not getting it from any quarters; this is not good for a country that is trying to develop its agricultural sector.

The government should begin to make these inputs and other agricultural enhancing services available for the small holder farmers so that there will be food distribution in surplus across the country
