Makinde, monarch congratulate new federal Perm Sec, Adeladan

Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has hailed the appointment of Alhaji Rafiu Olarinre Adeladan as a Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service.

Adeladan’s appointment was approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu earlier in the week.

Governor Makinde congratulated the Igboho-born newly-appointed Permanent Secretary, saying his diligence and hard work have brought him this far.

This was just as the Alepata of Igboholand and Permanent Chairman of the Oorelope Local Government Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Oba Joel Olawuwo, also congratulated the new Federal Permanent Secretary, describing his appointment as a great news for the local government, Oke Ogun and Oyo State.

Earlier, Governor Makinde had in a statement made available to newsmen, charged Adeladan to continue to be a good ambassador of Oyo State.

The governor noted that Adeladan’s appointment as a Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil is another testament to the excellence that Oyo State has always been renowned for as the Pacesetter State.

The governor said: “The news of the appointment of Alhaji Rafiu Olarinre Adeladan as a Permanent Secretary in the Federal Civil Service by the President comes as a heart-warming news.

“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Oyo State, I want to congratulate him on this well-deserved appointment, which is a testament to his hard work and diligence.”

Similarly, Oba Olawuwo, who appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of Alhaji Adeladan, described the new Perm Sec as the pride of Igboholand and a golden son of Oke Ogun and Oyo State.

Oba Olawuwo, in a statement released by the palace and personally signed by him, described the appointment of Alhaji Adeladan as a great development for Igboholand and Oyo State.

The statement read: “I, Oba Dr. Joel Olawuwo, the Alepata of Igboholand and Permanent Chairman of the Oorelope Local Government Traditional Council, on behalf of myself and the Council, congratulate a worthy son of Igboholand and our pride, Alhaji Rafiu Olarinre Adeladan, on his appointment as a Permanent Secretary by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“We are not surprised that his hard work and dedication have been rewarded, as he has always proven his mettle as a dedicated, focused and goal-oriented civil servant.
