The eyes they say is the gateway to the heart, hence when applying make-up especially eye shadows, particular attention should be placed on the eyes. There are majorly two types of eye make-ups, the eye shadow which could either be loose or compact, and the eye liner which could be applied in various shapes like winged or normal, thick or thin.

TIPS ON APPLYING EYE MAKEUP

Eye shadow

* Prime your eye lids

* Run light colour over the lids first, follow with a darker shade

* Apply your eye shadow with either your finger or brush depending on the look you want to create

* Blend the eyeshadow with your blending brush.

*For intensity, add more darker color

Note: some eye shadows are more pigmented( has more intensity) than others, this should be put into consideration when applying them.

Eye liner

While applying the eyeliner, a steady hand is needed to ensure a smooth application else you are going to end up with a smudged eyeliner.

TIPS ON APPLYING EYE LINER

* Pull back the lid to the side.

* Apply the liner using a liquid liner or liner stick.
