The Accountant General of the Federation (AGF), Mrs Oluwatoyin Madein, has expressed deep sadness over the passing away of a former Accountant General of the Federation, the late Mr Jonah Oguniyi Otunla.
In a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, Madein said the late former Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) worked hard to bring the Treasury of the Federation to the present enviable position, especially in the implementation of a series of public finance management reforms.
Madein, who described the late Otunla as having an amiable personality, noted that he has gone to be with his Maker and prayed for the repose of his soul.
Bawa Mokwa, Director (Press and Public Relations), said she commiserated with the family of the late former AGF and the Treasury of the Federation over the unfortunate incident.
The late Jonah Oguniyi Otunla was the Accountant General of the Federation from July 2011 to June 2015.
