LP apologies over inclusion of Igini’s name on party committee

Published by

The Labour Party has described the inclusion of Mike Igini’s name on its Electoral Reform Committee as a mistake.

The party in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Pastor Obiora Ifoh, said that it has made some adjustments to the composition of the list and corrected the error.

The statement reads: “This is to inform members of the public that there is a slight adjustment to the composition of the Electoral Reform Committee membership.

“Mike Igini’s name was mistakenly included earlier as a member of the committee. We have however dropped his name and his replacement will be announced during the inauguration of the committee coming up very soon.

“We regret this mix up and have since tendered apologies to this very well respected Nigerian.”
