The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Oredo local government area of Edo State.
This was announced at the ongoing collation of results led by the Returning Officer, Professor Faruq Adamu Kuta, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna.
According to the collation officer for the local govt, Monday Okpebholo of the APC polled 30,780 votes to defeat his closest rival and candidate of the PDP, Asue Ighodalo, who scored 24,938 votes.
