LightHill Music has been in the music industry for close to a decade, gaining experience and expertise as it grows. Standing out as a music community with several talents and hit songs in the community, LightHill Music has set to take its place as one of the renowned gospel music groups in Nigeria. The independent gospel community has gone on to collaborate with Distrokid as their official music licensor.
In 2023, Light Hill Music songs by popular demand were air-played on various radio stations across Nigeria. Their songs have been able to reach a broader demographic, and the gospel community has set to become a household name, thrilling to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through their music to the world.
In 2023, LightHill Music act was featured on YouTube Music. Led by Mr. Faleye Olusola John, the music group has been active and running with excellence over the past years; he groomed a class music group with members like Ify Benson, Okey Chuks, IBK, Shorlah, Rubee, and others.
To note, Lighthill Music has released “Anyi abiawo” featuring Okey Chuks and Gospel maestro, Mercy Chinwo. Following up, the “No Weapon,” single by Ify Benson, a member of the community, became an anthem, breaking into the social media space and major playlists on music platforms.
In June 2024, the community released ‘Lifter of My Head,’ a gospel groove featuring its members. Its official video was premiered on Trace Gospel TV.
The journey hasn’t been all smooth but LightHill Music has kept the fire and is one music community that aims to spread gospel music to the world with the vision of kingdom advancement.
