According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Omotola, had in 2016 approached the court, seeking the dissolution of their marriage on the grounds that her husband deceived her into marrying him.
Omotola stated that Rasak lied to her about his marital status.
Dissolving the marriage, the court president, Mrs Funmi Adeola, directed the couple to continue to maintain peace.
Adeola ordered the husband to pay N5, 000 as monthly feeding allowance for the first child, who is living with the woman.
He also admonished both parties to join hands to train their children.
Omotola alleged that her husband told her he was no more in a relationship with his first wife which she later found out to be a lie.
“My husband lured me into marrying him. He told me he had left his first wife, but I later learnt she has four children for him.
“I want this marriage to be dissolved and I urge this court to grant me custody of my first son because he took him from me and I don’t know his whereabouts, “she told the court.
Rasak Moshood, however, did not deny his wife’s claims and also urged the court to separate them.
“I did not tell her the truth because I liked her and I wanted her to marry me. I’m also no more interested in our marriage because she’s presently carrying her pastor’s pregnancy, “he said.
