LG poll: Sokoto APC Chairman commends voting process

As the people of Sokoto State troop out to elect their representatives across the 23 local government areas, the chairman of the state’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Isa Sadiq Acida, has commended the electoral process so far.

Speaking after casting his vote at his polling unit in Acida Town, he expressed satisfaction with the state electoral committee’s organization.

He further expressed his pleasure at the large turnout of voters in the local government area, noting that many people came out in large numbers to cast their votes.

He reaffirmed his confidence in the party’s candidates winning the elections, attributing their potential success to the performance of the state governor.

“I am impressed with the arrangements made by the electoral body, and we can all see how smoothly the process is going, especially in this local government.

“I am confident that, with the performance of the governor, who is the leader of our party, we are on the path to victory.”

Also speaking, the state Commissioner for Information, Sambo Bello Danchadi, commended the people of the state for their peaceful conduct during the polls.

He advised security agents to remain vigilant and professional in ensuring the continuous smooth running of the elections.

Additionally, the APC chairmanship candidate in Wurno Local Government, Abbah Isa Acida, praised the voters for turning out in large numbers.

While expressing confidence in winning the election, he assured that the interests of the people would be prioritized by implementing people-oriented policies.
