The development is consequent upon the directive by the State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir recently when he declared an emergency on education in the state.

While flagging off the enrollment exercise, the Caretaker Chairman said that it has become imperative for stakeholders in the area to stand up to ensure that children of school age who are not in school, get enrolled.

He stressed that their continuous absence from school is a worrisome situation and injurious to the community that is already retrogressed educationally.

Sama’ila Ya’u Sade added that any society that refuses to encourage education, should be ready to accommodate criminals and other vices, stressing therefore, the need to ensure that children are back to school.
