Otaru stated this while briefing the press at a programme to mark the 100 days in office of the state executives of PFN in the state, that issues such as religion, ethnicity, tribalism should always be removed from country’s national life.
He submitted that for the country to move forward, Nigerians must promote peace, love and unity.
The cleric challenged leaders to lead the people aright with the fear of God in their hearts while admonishing the followers to always do the right thing.
On the 2019 general elections, the PFN chairman, asked Nigerians to vote according to their conscience and not to engage in the act of “vote selling”.

He insisted that no ambition of any political office seeker(s) is greater than Nigeria, hence the need for all to see the country as a project
«We do not have any other nation than Nigeria, so therefore let us go to the polls to vote according to their conscience and no selling of votes. The state is greater than the ambition of any Nigerian.
«Nigeria is not an individual project, because after the elections, Nigeria will remain as a State. In every election, there will always be a winner and a loser.
Let us not play politics with everything in the country and that is the major problem with the country. If we remove that from our national life, the country will move faster,» he added.
Otaru highlighted training, evangelism and charity as the vision of his executives for the state PFN in the next four years.
