Ekiti State governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has urged Nigerians to hope for a better country as a New Year rolls in.
He charged leaders in the country to be fair and equitable in the way they treat Nigerians..
In his New Year message, Governor Fayose reassured the people of the state of the determination of his administration to provide more dividends of democracy for them.
“Within available resources, we can boldly say that we have tried our best in the provision of projects and services to our people. We have also touched every part of the state and we are not relenting. Despite the financial challenges, our administration is assuring the people of more quality leadership.
“Our hope in God for a better tomorrow for the people of Ekiti State is not shaken and we are assuring the people that we are on course. More developmental projects will still be executed in the state this year while ongoing ones due for delivery this year would be delivered as scheduled,”he said.
