Let’s forget Biafra and embrace peace

Published by

War is a destructive exercise. Let us remember the aftermath of the 1967/1970 Civil War which occurred as a result of the agitation for Biafra; it is still fresh in our memory. Scores of Nigerian youths then were forced to join the Nigerian Army and lost their lives. Many families were scattered and never reunited till today. Meanwhile, I want to admonish President Muhammadu Buhari to temper justice with mercy and release Mr Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of Biafra, and dialogue with him, together with the leaders of the South-East geopolitical zone. This is to let peace reign and for Nigeria to continue as a peaceful nation.
