Let us create a world without wars —HWPL boss

Published by

WORLD Leaders, both in the political and religious sectors, have been advised to ensure that their policies and teaching are aimed at ensuring peace throughout the globe.

This call was made by the Chairman, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) Man Hee Lee, while addressing media practitioners in a press conference, at the Grand International Seoul Parnas, Seoul South Korea, on Saturday, to mark the second commemoration of the September 18th Word Alliance of Religion’ Peace (WARP) summit.

Lee, who addressed the conference in company of the chairperson of International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) Nam Hee Kim and Director International Peace Youth Group (IPYG), Kim, said the media have a role to play in passing across the message of peace throughout the world.

Over 1,000 people from around the world which include journalists from all the continents, religious leaders, politicians, and non-governmental organisations are currently attending the second annual commemoration which began of Friday, September 15.

According to Lee, “HWPL has gone around the world 24 times and run a marathon of proclaiming a new era of peace. Politicians, people of religion, women and youths around the world have promised to work together with HWPL to achieve peace, and the 2014 WARP Summit was a continuation of these promises.

“That day, we made two pledges in the sight of the creator, all people of the world, and the peace advocate. We promised to work towards achieving the cessation of war through international law and the alliance of religions. These two pledges have become a reality over the past two years.

“I have been carrying the work of peace, whether people people recognise it or not. Tell religious leaders to teach the truth in their religion, media are playing the biggest role. Let us create a world without wars.

“Instead of leaving wealth for the future generation, let us bequest to them a world of peace. The United Nations must ensure that it wars do not break out anymore. It will have a great effect on everyone that loves peace, because we must believe in one another and communicate with ourselves. If there is peace, we can love one another. The world of peace must become a reality,” Lee said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson, International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) Nam Hee Kim called on women worldwide to rise up to the challenge of leading and support peace move.

She said, “we must achieve world peace with all power, in particular in divided countries. All women of this world would focus on the session and bring about a great joy to the world.”
