Leave Boss Mustapha alone, APC chieftain replies Adamawa ‘bigwigs’

Published by

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State and pioneer National Vice Chairman of the party in the North-East, Umar Duhu, has urged politicians in the state not to distract the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, who he said is busy coordinating the government of President Muhammadu Buhari and the activities that would lead to a successful transition on May 29, 2019.

Duhu, in an interaction with newsmen in Yola on behalf of other notable politicians in the state, while responding to a position by some politicians in the state that Mustapha had become obsessed with his political ambition for 2023, said the accusation was untrue.

According to Duhu, it was an attempt to distract the Secretary to Government of the Federation and to derail the President Muhammadu Buhari government.

Noting that though Mustapha “is well-qualified to seek the highest office in the land or any other office and that he is at liberty if he wishes to run with any presidential candidate in 2023,” Duhu argued that Mustapha “is currently too occupied with coordinating the winding up of President Buhari’s first tenure and setting the tone for the second term.”
